Marv Radio is a Vocal AlKemist, sound healer, and three-time UK Beatbox Champion whose work bridges music, performance, and transformation. His artistry spans from high-energy live shows to deep ceremonial journeys, guiding people into the true power of their voice.
Marv is known for creating unforgettable performances that fuse beatboxing, live looping, freestyle rap, and collaborative improvisation. He has headlined festivals, created improvised songs from audience stories, and brought communities together through interactive jams. He has performed and facilitated all around the world, including being the first person to perform beatboxing in Antarctica.
Beyond the stage, Marv is a dedicated teacher and facilitator. He has taught beatbox and hip-hop workshops at Cambridge University, worked with laryngectomy patients to help them recover confidence and expression, and presented and facilitated with numerous youth organisations, schools, and charities across the UK and internationally. Through these experiences he has demonstrated that the voice is not only an artistic instrument but also a tool for healing, confidence, and empowerment.
Marv’s work extends into sacred and ceremonial contexts. He has led initiations in the temples of Egypt, been initiated in Ayahuasca ceremonies in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru, and facilitated retreats across Europe and South America. His Vocal AlKemi practice combines sound healing, breathwork, and embodiment with deep knowledge of Kemetic philosophy and indigenous traditions.
A passionate advocate for mental health, Marv openly shares his journey as a suicide survivor. This lived experience fuels his commitment to helping others heal and find strength through the power of their own voices. He understands the transformative potential of sound not just as performance, but as medicine for the heart and mind.
Marv’s mission is to help people awaken the true power of their voice. Through performances, workshops, coaching, and sound journeys he guides people to heal vocal blocks, unlock creativity, embody authentic leadership, and experience peace and purpose. Whether through a Voice and Vision session, a sound journey, or an interactive concert, his work is about more than music. It is an invitation to remember who we are when the voice is free to resonate.
